Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CrezamCreative Tech Private Limited ("Crezam", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website or contact us. Crezam is an AI company based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and incubated at the IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information we need to respond to you and to run this website: (a) Demo and contact requests: when you book a demo or contact us, we collect your name, work email address, company name, your role, your company size, and any details you choose to share about your software or requirements. (b) Newsletter: if you subscribe, we collect your email address. (c) Technical and security data: to protect the site from spam and abuse, we store your browser type (user-agent) and a one-way, salted cryptographic hash of your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to: respond to your demo or contact requests; send you the newsletter you have subscribed to; protect the website and our users from spam, abuse and security threats; and understand and improve how our website performs.
3. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (for the newsletter); our legitimate interests and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (for responding to demo and contact requests); and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (for security data). Where the DPDP Act applies, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent and for the legitimate uses permitted under that Act.
4. How we store and protect your data
Your information is stored in a secured database and transmitted over encrypted connections. We host our services on Microsoft Azure. We restrict access to personal data to those who need it to do their work.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as our cloud hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) and our email delivery provider (used to send demo confirmations, notifications and the newsletter). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information if required by law.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep demo and contact data for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for our legitimate business purposes, after which we delete or anonymise it. We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see "Your rights").
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@crezam.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. Specific rights under India's DPDP Act and the EU/UK GDPR are described in our DPDP Notice and GDPR Notice.
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary for the website to function. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and seek your consent where the law requires it.
9. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date.
